Carmen-Daniela Micu

Carmen-Daniela Micu | CEO & Founding Member, Envisia

Carmen is Founder and Board Member of ENVISIA-Boards of Elite, the first Business School in Romania for Board Directors. She is a senior executive with over 25 years of experience in general management and in marketing & communication, having held local, regional and global assignments, in companies such as Beiersdorf AG Hamburg, Wella AG and Omnicom Media Group, and covering an array of industries from FMCG to Pharma and Media & Advertising. Strong business development professional, Carmen holds two masters degrees and is an alumna from prestigious schools: IESE Business School, Wharton University, Kellogg School of Management-Northwestern University, ASEBUSS and University Of Washington. She holds a certification in Hogan psychological evaluation system and is a member of “Independent Directors’ Association” (AAI). In 2019 Carmen has been nominated Professional Women’s Network Global Member of the Year.

Adriana Lobda

Adriana Lobda | Strategy & Development Director Founding Member, Envisia

Adriana has over 20 years of experience in auditing and audit advisory services working mainly with Big 4 professional service networks. Starting 2001 she coordinated audit missions for a wide range of clients, from medium size companies to large size companies, operating in different industries. During 2012-2016 she was an audit partner leading one network regional office in Romania. While working for Big 4 companies Adriana acted as liaison partner with various regulatory bodies in Romania and abroad. She was actively involved in liaising with representatives of Ministry of Finance and Oversight body in Romania during the process of transposition into national law of the statutory audit legislation, finalized in July 2017.

She graduated from the Academy of Economic Studies, Faculty of International Business & Trade, with a Master Degree in Economics. She also graduated the program of Executive Master of Business Administration-from The Institute for Business Administration in Bucharest/ Kennesaw State University, Atlanta.

Adriana is a:

  • Member of Romanian Chamber of Financial Auditors(CAFR)
  • Member of Certified Chartered Accountants Body (CECCAR)
  • Fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, UK (ACCA),
  • Member of Romanian Association of Evaluators (ANEVAR),
  • Ex- Board Vice-president of the Independent Administrators’ Association (IIA) in Romania

Gabriela Hârtescu

Gabriela Hârtescu, PhD | Dean of Envisia Business School, Chief Operating Officer

As the Dean of the school and its Chief Operations Officer Gabriela leads the school, coordinating the development of and implementation of the school’s mission and vision. She works closely with the Schools’ Board of Directors, academics and associated lecturers/experts to ensure best-in-class operations, policies and relationships while the School delivers state-of-the-art business-oriented experiences to all participants. The Dean fosters and encourages research within the school and supports curriculum development and the initiation and development of new programs in line with Envisia’s overall curricula objectives. Gabriela is responsible for the School’s operations management and the coordination of Envisia’s Community. As the Dean, she serves as the education and academic representative of the school to external bodies.

Gabriela has over 20 years of experience in the field of professional training and academic education in finance and banking, having held various managerial positions and responsibilities both in Romania and at the European level: Chief Executive Officer at the Romanian Banking Institute (RBI), member of the Board of Directors and Chairperson of Triple E EFCB Committee at the European Banking and Financial Services Training Association (EBTN), etc. She is also a senior trainer and delivers seminars on international trade finance.

Gabriela is:

  • Affiliate member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment UK (CISI)
  • Member of the Association of the Romanian Financial and Banking Analysts (AAFBR) President of the Banking Commission, International Chamber of Commerce/ ICC – within the Romanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry/ CCIR
  • Co-chair of the Academic Committee, International Association for Sustainable Economy
  • She holds a PhD in Finance from the Academy of Economic Studies.
